1979-S Type 2 United States Mint Proof Set. Contains one Lincoln Penny, one Jefferson Nickel, one Roosevelt Dime, one Washington Quarter, one Kennedy Half Dollar, and one Susan B. Anthony Dollar. This is the first year of issue for the Susan B. Anthony Dollar. All the coins are in Proof condition, having been struck on specially prepared coin blanks. Each coin features the "clear S" mintmark, making it a type 2. These sets were sold directly from the U.S. Mint to collectors across the world. We have a limited number available, complete with original packaging. As these sets have been held in private collections, the condition of the outside packaging is not always in 'brand new' condition, but we only ship sets that we would like to own ourselves.
