2003 Maine State Quarter UNC Denver Mint 40-Coin Roll

US minted state quarters are among the most popular coins collected today. Only limited quantities are available in the Gem brilliant, uncirculated condition. You receive a roll of (40) gem brilliant uncirculated coins from the Philadelphia Mint. These Maine quarters include an image of the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse that still sits atop the state's granite coastline. It was funded by Congress in 1826 and erected shortly after. The lighthouse remains one of Maine's most popular tourist attractions. A 3-masted schooner - resembling "Victory Chimes," the last of the Windjammer fleet - can be see at sea in the distance. This is the 23rd in the entire state quarter series, representing Maine being the 23rd state to join the Union on March 15, 1820.
