Rare Pinocchio 50th Anniversary Gold Coin Proof Set. The film version of Pinocchio was released on February 7, 1940. It was Walt Disney's second full-length animated feature and in many ways, one of his most ambitious. This set is number 0026.

Each proof coin contains one-quarter ounce of pure (.999) gold. 6 x 1/4oz = 1.5oz gold.

Excellent condition. Each coin features a different obverse design (upper image) and share a common reverse design (bottom image). The six coins are encased in plastic capsules and fit into a page in a deluxe, leather-bound book produced by Rarities Mint especially for this set. The book also contains information and images from the film. Only one set available. Remember, "When you wish upon a star, your dreams come true."
