The World Trade Center held the Comex Vaults at The Iron Mountain Repository, which were buried due to the events on Sept. 11th 2001.  These vaults were in the sub basement area of the Towers.  Months of digging occured under tight security.  Workers recovered platinum, gold, and silver coins.  After sorting all this out some were returned to owners.  Others, like this one, were kept under tight security and a chain of custody was established to verify the authenticity of these coins.  Collectors Universe/PCGS received these coins from Brinks trucks at an undisclosed location.  These coins were then graded and slabbed as being in the Towers when the attack took place.  And now it can be YOURS. This is a true piece of American History as well as a GREAT investment.
